Job Description

Lead the Trade Marketing Team of UIP Vietnam which covers the areas of Trade Marketing, Trade Development, Customer Engagement and Customer/ Consumer Communications.  The role involves the development, implementation and monitoring of the customer engagement and communications strategy and programs to attain defined business objectives throughout product categories and geographies in Vietnam market.

1. Work with the Commercial Team in developing strategy to build trade presence and off-take in relevant channels (develop and apply category insight).

2. Assess and diagnose issues relating to channel strategy development, including determine channel development opportunities, consumer purchasing behavior/habits and competitor actions & reactions.

3. Manage Trade Marketing in ensuring high-impact visibility and superior presence of UIP brand materials at the point-of-sale vs competitors and make it the top of mind brand of the account for pushing recommendation to patients and consumers.

4. Support the development of communications strategy and programs to drive demand and sales for relevant product categories.

5. Oversee the organization of education programs to relevant HCPs (like CPEs, GPPs) and direct to consumer communication and activation programs.

6. Develop network with customer’s organizations. Identify important contacts at all levels and functions within customer's organizations to develop a good customer relationship to get more insights, to show interest and to secure future business.

7. Corporate with Distributor, Marketing, Salesforce and Supply Chain to develop effective Trade marketing and customer/ consumer communication programs.

8. Monitor selling–out changes and provide input to predicting the future trade environment and determining future channel developments.

9. Manage and build strong Trade Marketing Team to make sure that they are aligned with corporate direction, motivated and well trained to be ready to work with self-confident and enthusiastic attitude.

10. Lead and develop policies and practices aligning with corporate directions, policies and regulations.

11. Adapting best practice to local conditions and acting as a local reference point.

Job Requirement

Educational and Professional Background 

  • Bachelor degree in pharmacy/sales/marketing major
  • At least 5-years experiences in sales management
  • At least 3-years experiences in similar position
